1. Baptisms 1558-1681; marriages 1558-1681, Burials
1558- 1678. with deleted entries of Baptism 1689, Marriages
1685 and Burials 1687 and 1689 (duplicated in PD 607/2);
memorandum by Thomas Lillie, Churchwarden, 1634, that he
copied out the entries up to 1633 from the old register;
memoranda of possible incompleteness and errors in the
register 1641-1644 because of the death of John Lynch,
Parish Clerk, and the number of prisoners put in the church,
also of the omission of dates in the entries for 1646
through the Clerk's heedlessness; a draft of Joseph
Whitinge's memorandum at the beginning of PD 607/2. (For

1678-1788 (including affidavits of Burial in Woolen to
1781); with a memorandum on beginning a new register book by
Joseph Whitinge, Curate, 1681; list of Vicars 1601- 1754; a
separate memorandum of the Reverend Thomas Pyle's succession
to the Vicarage 1719; a memorandum by the Reverend Charles
Phelps of his appointment of a Parish Clerk in 1779. (For

succession by the Reverend Thomas Berkeley in 1811.
