Nicholas Kerrison, originally from King's Lynn, is currently
Director of Music at The King's School, Peterborough – the
Choir School to Peterborough Cathedral.
Having been a chorister at St Margaret's Church, King's
Lynn, where he also studied the organ with Aubrey Hood, he
pursued the study of Music at the School of Music,
Huddersfield Polytechnic (now the University). Nicholas then
went on to undertake Teaching Training at Homerton College,
Cambridge.
Having spent eight years as Head of Music at The King’s
School, Grantham and as organist of St. Wulfrum’s Church,
Nicholas moved on to his current post in Peterborough.
Since arriving in Peterborough, Nicholas has been a Lay
Clerk at Peterborough Cathedral and Organist and Choirmaster
at St Guthlac's Church, Market Deeping.
