Pippa
Trent first showed an interest in the piano at age of 3 and
clarinet at 7. She is a piano student of Heather Edwards in
Norwich and has achieved great success in her most recent
Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music piano
performance examinations.
Pippa gained distinction for her Grade 7 and achieved the
highest marks in the County at that level which lead to her
being awarded the Evelyn Rose Phillips Memorial Prize.
Following this she was invited to the Royal College of Music
for an individual consultation lesson with resident tutor
Nigel Clayton. She gained a merit in her Grade 8 piano
performance examination last year and is now studying for
her Grade 8 Clarinet with tutor Bonnie Holm.
Pippa attends Fakenham High School and is currently sitting
four AS Level examinations. She is an active member of the
school, particularly for the music department for whom she
accompanies the School Choir, plays clarinet for the jazz
band and performs piano with the wind quintet. She is also
principal clarinet in the Concert Band. Pippa has also
played the clarinet with the Norwich Philharmonic Orchestra. |
